Fry If vaccinations are such a great way to go, wouldn't legislators be content to give parents the right of intelligent choice between getting their children vaccinated or not vaccinated? Do people have to be compelled to do a good thing? There is no way that anything can prevent disease as long as the causes of disease are still operative. Would not legislators be immeasurably wiser if they made valid health education available to our schools and people? And, in mandating vaccinations, aren't they abrogating our constitutionally-protected rights of freedom of belief, religion and conscience?
