Having a job you hate affects all aspects of your life. Every day turns into a constant slog that you wish to be over. You wait for the weekends, hoping they'll last forever, but they never do, and before you know it, the cycle repeats itself. I know this feeling all too well. You see, I got a job right out of school, and I felt I was lucky. In the current market it's not often that anyone gets a job fresh out of school, and I  thought  I was one of the lucky ones. However, the first thing I realized was that the pay actually wasn't that good. It was middle of the road, at best. At least, it was for the field I was in. The next thing I noticed was that the office environment was awful. It was so soulless, with all the bland cubicles and lack of personalization. Nobody was happy, and our boss was demanding, mean and unreasonable.
