In the 1980's leading consultants were skeptical about cellular phones. The handsets were heavy, batteries didn't last long, coverage was patchy, and the cost per minute was exorbitant. The experts have been saying the same about solar energy. They say that solar is ineficient, too expensive to install, and unreliable, and will fail without government subsidies. They too are wrong. In April, 2015, several members of the local Minute Men intercepted some 1,300 lbs. of cocaine being smuggled in the desert near El Paso into the U.S. All packages were marked with the symbol of a Cartel.
